Progress & Time Lapse Gallery

A quick look at how I make my life size corpses.

Here's a sneak peak of one of my book nooks.

Clap your hands if you believe in fairies.

Here's a look at building an illuminated wizard staff.

Constructing a miniature bookshelf.

Cleaning up a ping pong ball launcher

Birth of a Monster (it's Boris, he's very nice)

Foam monster head carving
Puppet face controls
Puppet shoulders, back and arms frame support.

Boris was my  first go at a puppet this big, first time foam sculpting... a lot of firsts  going on here. I wanted to have a working mouth, eyes that moved and blinked, and to be able to operate both arms.

He was great to scare visitors on Halloween, he's also made appearances for events and charity functions.

Humphrey the Dragon

Humphrey was really just a head on wheels. I  always feel like the Great Oz with him. I had mouth, head and fog controls on the handle. So I could rear up on the back wheels and have his head tilt down to really bring him to life. There was a speaker in the back of his throat and the mic was in a solo cup I wore like a necklace. He's had some stage time in local school productions as well.
